At a glance
  • Receipt and invoice data extraction
  • Employee expense claims and mileage tracking
  • Supplier payments and reimbursements
  • AI Assist suggesting approvable automations
  • Vault document storage for ten years

Bookkeeping automation software built around the dull half of the job: data entry, categorisation, reconciliation and approvals. Receipts, invoices and statements go in by mobile app, email, WhatsApp or desktop, Dext reads out the supplier, line items and due date at a stated accuracy of over 99%, then publishes to your accounting software following rules you set. It also fetches supplier invoices and syncs with bank feeds.

AI Assist turns your decisions into rules

Rather than deciding for you, AI Assist watches the calls your team makes on suppliers, categories and splits, then proposes automations you approve before they run. Routine transactions pass through; you keep the final say.

Beyond capture there is employee expense management (including mileage claims through the app), supplier payments and reimbursements handled in the same place, and Vault, which keeps every original document for at least ten years, tagged and searchable for audits. Businesses and their accountants work from the same records, with missing documents flagged for resolution.

Separate pricing exists for businesses and for practices, quoted per region. The business plan starts around $25.21 a month billed annually for 250 documents and 5 users, with a 14 day free trial; practice plans are priced per client.
