You run through the task as you normally would — no talking, no pausing to explain. Guideless records each step and then writes the instructions, produces a voiceover, adds captions and presentation effects like smart zoom, and applies your workspace branding before the guide is ready to publish.

Editing beats re-recording

When a screen or a button changes, you update the affected step rather than starting the recording over. The editor lets you rewrite instructions, regenerate narration in a different AI voice, swap screenshots, annotate, blur sensitive details, and translate a finished guide into any of 40+ supported languages.

Publishing and measurement

Guides go out as shareable links, embeds for a help center or docs portal, or exports to MP4, PDF and Markdown for Notion or GitHub. Viewers need no account. Built-in analytics report views, play rate and completions so you can see where people drop off. Teams get shared workspaces, roles, folders and search, plus Slack, Notion and Confluence integrations.

The site positions it against Loom and Scribe: Loom needs you to narrate live, Scribe produces screenshots and text, while Guideless aims at narrated video and written documentation from the same capture. A Chrome extension and a free starting tier are available, with demos bookable.
